The Adelaide Airport Civil Roadworks project included the resurfacing of all runways and taxiways as part of essential maintenance works required every 10-12 years to maintain a safe operating environment for all aircrafts. Resurfacing and replacement of the airfield ground lighting of the main runway and all hierarchy 1 taxiways were required over the 24 month period.
