The United States Force Posture Initiatives (USFPI) Northern Territory Training Areas and Ranges project is an Australian Department of Defence initiative to upgrade and expand four key training areas in the Northern Territory – Robertson Close Training Area, Kangaroo Flats, Mount Bundey and Bradshaw Field Training Area. The project delivered new buildings for weapons and aviation facilities, upgrading existing infrastructure like roads and services and modernising support facilities to improve training for both Australian and US forces.
