The Airport Drive Extension and Steele Creek North Stormwater Enhancement Project looked at costs to create a second major entry into the airport providing direct access from Western Ring Road, review of park land for access use previously unused by Melbourne Airport Business Park (around 220 hectares of industrial and business zoned land), and improve stormwater quality to achieve reduced peak flow rates and ways to conserve and treat water for use as an alternative water supply.

North was appointed as Specialist Infrastructure Project Manager and Superintendent responsible for overseeing the design development procurement and delivery of the project Working closely with the integrated project team we maintained a full time site presence throughout construction enabling early identification and resolution of issues and fostering a collaborative solutions focused relationship with the contractor to drive efficient and high.
