Leading the Project Assurance team at North, Melissa has a passion for finding pragmatic solutions within the pathways and framework of complex project contracts, particularly PPPs. She has considerable experience across all aspects of large-scale infrastructure delivery, with a focus on significant complexity, be that extremely unique functional outcomes, built interface with live environments, multifaceted contractual arrangements, or the layering of stakeholders.
Melissa has been involved in all aspects of Public Private Partnerships, from drafting the PSDR, Lenders Technical Advisor, technical and cost evaluation panels for the State, project management for the Project Co, acceptance lead for the D&C Contractor, Independent Reviewer Representative, Independent Certifier, Financiers’ Certifier, reporting to Gateways, claim and dispute assessment, commissioning & acceptance advisory and Technical Due Diligence / Lifecycle support for asset refinancing. Projects range from social infrastructure, hospitals, roads and renewables.
