The Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project will unlock additional train services to address the high growth in travel demand between Brisbane and the Gold Coast and is a key investment to support the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Once completed the project will provide – upgraded tracks, structures and rail systems between Kuraby station and Beenleigh station, Station upgrades at Kuraby, Trinder Park, Woodridge, Kinston, Loganlea, Bethania, Edens Landing, Holmview and Beenleigh. The project will provide better connections for communities through changes to local road network and improved walking and cycling connections to stations.
