The RAAF Base Edinburgh Air 7000 Phase 2B project involved the construction of a new apron and ARDU shelter as well as demolition of existing pavements and the construction of new shelters, earthworks, new complex pavements, stormwater infrastructure, water services, electrical, fire main and new fule lines. A new underground sewage storage system was constructed which will connect with new building sewage infrastructure.

Services Provided

North was initially commissioned to deliver civil cost estimating services for the project upgrade. Building on this early involvement, our team was subsequently re-engaged as Independent Reviewer to assess variations within the Building and Civil Works packages during tender evaluation. Our first-principles cost knowledge provided the client with confidence and continuity throughout the procurement process and ensured outcomes remained aligned with cost integrity and risk management objectives.
