The Brisbane International Cruise Ship Terminal was purpose-built to accommodate the world’s largest cruise liners. The project included a 208-metre wharf, two passenger boarding bridges, and a 270-metre elevated walkway for safe, efficient passenger transfers. Works also required significant dredging and extensive negotiations with utility owners to manage service relocations and protect existing infrastructure. The two-storey terminal building incorporates an undercover plaza, outdoor waterfront promenade, and approximately 900 paid car parks, delivering a modern, high-amenity gateway for Brisbane’s cruise industry. 

Services Provided

The team provided advisory services across the planning and delivery of the project including preliminary evaluation, options for framing, business case development and assurance support. The team played a critical role in supporting the client through the procurement strategy and market approach identifying practical design and delivery solutions that reduced delivey risk and improved build efficiency. During delivery our role extended to support the client with commerical oversight, assessing contractor variations and safeguarding value for money. The project was delivered on budget providing a state of the art facility that now accommodates the worlds largest cruise ships and enables significant economic growth for Brisbane.
