North was engaged as the Independent Estimator for the Kangaroo Island Ports Upgrade—a complex, remote infrastructure program demanding precise cost management and strategic planning. Our role combined detailed quantity surveying, cost estimating, and constructability advisory to deliver safe, efficient, and value-driven design outcomes. North developed comprehensive cost estimates across all project stages, contributed scheduling insights, and continuously assessed constructability to align with logistical and environmental constraints. We also provided forward-looking analysis of potential variations to proactively manage cost risk and support informed decision-making. Through this process, North delivered the client confidence, cost certainty, and technical assurance from design through delivery.
