ElectraNet are proposing a Mid North Expansion Project (Project) which is a key component of the energy market transition and will increase power system capability of the transmission network by constructing new high capacity lines from Bundey to Para or a new site (Southern) and from Bundey to Cultana East (Northern).

North were commissioned to provide cost estimation services to ElectraNet which included scope development, documention and Class 4 estimates across 21 HVT options. The review looked at over 56 unique cost elements covering 275/330/500kV Transmission lines, substations and undergroup cable options, providing the client with certainty on price as they went to market for contractor pricing.
