The Hopkins Prison Expansion project is part of the broader Victorian Prison Infill Expansion Program being conducted across 5 prisons in the State of Victoria. The construction of a new building to facilitate 94 new and replacement beds built within an operating prison environment is an augmentation of the existing Public Private Partnership between Community Safety Building Authority and Aegis Correctional Partnership Pty Ltd. This new facility is delivered with a combination of onsite and offsite modular construction methodologies set in a regional precinct and supported by a band of refurbishment work fronts.

North is proud to be supporting the Aegis Correctional Partnership team in dual roles — as Superintendent to the Construction Contractor and as Project Management lead during delivery.

As Superintendent, North provides strong commercial leadership across contract administration, cost and risk management, project controls, and overall project governance. In our Project Management capacity, we deliver pragmatic, solution-focused leadership to navigate the project’s unique contractual and delivery complexities.

By fostering collaboration, maintaining agility, and driving proactive issue resolution, North has helped minimise risk, optimise opportunities, and manage project costs—ensuring a coordinated and outcomes-focused path to completion and handover.
