Housing Australia are delivering two concurrent Funding Programs:

a) The Housing Australia Future Fund Facility (HAFFF) supporting the delivery of 20,000 social homes and 10,000 affordable homes over the next 5 years and ongoing availability; and

b) The National Housing Accord Facility (NHAF) supporting the delivery of 10,000 affordable dwellings from 2024 over the 5 years and ongoing availability.

These two Funding Programs utilise the Framework Funding Agreement, setting out the terms of funding, delivery and operations between Housing Australia and the Recipient for the duration of the concession or operational period. Facilitating these agreements are an independent third party Independent Certifiers who verify a Planning Approval Review, Financial Close EOT, IFC Documentation Reviews, Operating Phase Commencement Review, Operating Phase EOT and Operations Commencement Test for each of these projects.

North have been engaged by Housing Australia to develop streamlined and robust Independent Certifier Certification Proformas — ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and value in certification processes while enhancing the consistency and quality of housing projects delivered under this agreement.

As accredited members of Housing Australia’s Independent Certifier Panel, North also provide Independent Certifier services to Consortia, Developers, and Community Housing Providers across every Australian state.
