Five major companies (Fulton Hogan Utilities, John Holland and Guidera O’Connor JV, McConnell Dowell and Diona JV) will work together with SA Water to deliver $1.6B capital works program over a four-year period on projects that improve water and sewerage services for South Australia. The major projects spread across both the metro and regional areas including dam upgrades, water tank refurbishments, water main replacements, sewerage network upgrades and water treatment process changes.
Services Provided
As Independent Certifier for the project, North is responsible for providing impartial oversight across all key project dimensions — cost, schedule, and quality. Our role ensures that performance is continuously measured and transparently reported, supporting both the client and contractor in maintaining accountability and alignment with contractual obligations.
Our scope includes the assessment and certification of payments, valuation of variations, and the determination of disputes, claims, and delays. Each element is approached with technical precision and a balanced perspective to maintain fairness and uphold the integrity of the project.
By combining the specialist capabilities of a Quantity Surveyor, Superintendent, and Payment Certifier, North provides a holistic certification service that safeguards commercial objectives, ensures compliance, and supports the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
