North has provided quantity surveying and project management services over the last eight years for Port of Melbourne’s Capital Projects, Planning Phase Projects and Major Projects encompassing Wharves, Road, Rail, Buildings infrastructure, including:

• Webb Dock East 3-5 Rehabilitation Project $150M;

• Swanson Dock East Berth 1 & 2 (incl. bollards) Rehabilitation Project $69M;

• Swanson Dock West Berth 4 $72M;

• Appleton Dock Precinct Project $12M;

• South Wharf Precinct Project $15M.

North has embedded itself within PoM’s Infrastructure Team working independently and collaboratively to successfully deliver cost management services, including cost plans, cost estimates, tender submission reviews, progress claim assessments, variation assessments, cost reports and extension of time determinations for numerous departments.

With our detailed database of Port/Maritime rates and pricing, our work arrangement has provided real-time project cost management solutions to allow PoM to be agile when developing projects from conception, and the provision of independent Superintendent assessments.
